The harvesting season of yuzu is here.

Yuzu is an important ingredient of the fall/winter food culture in Japan. In Sanagochi-son Myodo-gun Tokushima, the location of the “Tokushima project”, yuzu harvesting season has started. The fresh aroma of yuzu spreads through the plantation.

Matsuyama has a deep relationship with the “yuzu” (citron). Products include our Yuzu Body Soap launched in September 2018, and our Yuzu Body Lotion that is loved by users around the world. We are pleased to announce a new feature page on the yuzu to better explain how the fruit works in our products, where it is produced, and what we are doing to further develop and utilize this important resource. Our Workstyle — Work Shorter, Work Longer (1)

This April, Matsuyama introduced a new style of work: Workstyle Project (WORK2020). In WORK2020, we introduced a flex/core time system. This represents a completely new mechanism for us and a wider range of choice for all employees and brings us closer to our goal of zero overtime hours.
Employees are encouraged to shorten their daily work hours as much as possible, and out of this they are able to create new time for themselves. We believe that better, and more fulfilling time for themselves (input) will produce better monozukuri as well (output). We are confident that our employees will be happier and more positive, that their enjoyment of their lives will reflect itself in the workplace.
